Skyreach Consulting provides drone-based data collection and analysis services to support environmental monitoring, planning, and reporting. Using certified operations, we produce high-resolution imagery, orthomosaic maps, and 3D terrain models for accurate, evidence-based decision-making.

For example, Skyreach conducts ongoing six-monthly surveys of 36 landslides in Fernkloof Nature Reserve for the Hermanus Botanical Society and Overstrand Municipality, alongside projects mapping alien vegetation and documenting ecological sites for local conservation organisations.

Skyreach Consulting offers tailored information sessions on Artificial Intelligence for institutions, organisations, and the general public. These sessions provide a clear, accessible introduction to AI, followed by facilitated exploration of its practical applications aligned to each audience’s specific context, interests, and mandates. Participants are supported to identify relevant use cases, understand ethical considerations, and develop realistic approaches to integrating AI into their work and decision-making processes.

Skyreach Consulting also offers tailored information sessions on drone technology, or Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), for institutions, organisations, and the general public. These sessions introduce the fundamentals of drone use, regulatory considerations, and potential applications, followed by focused discussions on how aerial data can support specific operational needs. Participants explore practical, locally relevant use cases—such as mapping, monitoring, and visual reporting—while gaining an understanding of how drone technology can be applied safely, effectively, and responsibly within their own contexts.

Sessions are led by Andrew Moore, a certified Remote Pilot with the South African Civil Aviation Authority, ensuring both technical credibility and adherence to regulatory standards.
